Virtual Influencers: A Critique in Song and Motion
Virtually Perfect
This project explores the troubling trend of AI-generated virtual influencers through the lens of music and animation. I wrote a satirical song that critiques the inherent misogyny and chauvinism in creating “perfect” digital women for mass consumption. Beyond the lyrics, the project showcases cutting-edge AI technology. By training a model specifically for this project, I crafted a consistent, cohesive virtual character brought to life in an animated music video. The result is a blend of art and technology that raises questions about societal values, representation, and the ethical use of AI.
